Lot of queries regarding Manglik Dosha comes to me, as this is a subject most unclear and confusing. To releive the people from confusion I've listed few facts about the Manglik Dosha (also known as Kuja Dosha).

What is Kuja Dosha?
Kuja Dosha or Angaaraka Dosha or Mangleek Dosha as it is called is of great importance in a horoscope & be checked precisely.
Ist House indicates self, 2nd stands for family, 4th for happiness, 7th for partner, 8th indicates death of an individual whereas 12th house is for pleasures of beds, sleeping compforts etc. so the presence of Mars in any of the above houses is termed as Kuja Dosha.
Exception to the rule?
Pandits and half baked astrologers have made this dosha so dreadful that public at large is very fearful even to the name of this dosha, whereas there are certain exceptions not known commonly if applied by a competent astrologer will be of great use. Such exceptions render this dosha null & void.
When there is No Manglik Dosha?
1. Mars has no dosha in the houses owned by Sun, Moon and Saturn.
2. Mars in moveable signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) cancels the dosha.
3. If the lord of the house where Mars is situated is in Kendra (i.e. 1st, 4th or 10th house) from Lagna the dosha gets cancelled.
4. If Mars posited in above houses is debilitated, retrograde or combust; loses his strength to form a Kuja Dosha.
5. In Jatak Chandrika it is stated that Mars in Cancer or Capricorn removes Manglik Dosha.
6. For Cancer & Leo Lagnas, the Mars is not evil.

hi my mother was told that iam having maglik dhosha by a local astrologer . mars is in 7th position i my lagna chart. but shani is also placed in the same 7th house. while checking i websites i got that am a double manglik. what are these. am i a maglik.

Placement of both the malefic planets in 7th House indicates so many things along with the fact that your are Manglik but do not suffer from Manglik Dosha. But before I can comment on any thing I would like you to send me your lagna chart along with Navansa in addition to your current Graha Dasha.

My daughter's raasi is Vrischikam and her lagnam too is vrischikam. She has moon and sani in lagnam and mars in the second house that is dhanur raasi . What does that mean? Does she have kuja dosham?
